Cosmic Gate unveil their new album on Armada. The tech-trance duo have provided remixes in the past for Armin van Buuren, Leona Lewis and more but here, they unleash their newest album, “Start To Feel”. This one features collabs with Eric Lumiere, Jerome Isma-Ae, Orjan Nilsen, Sarah Lynn and more.
Although the album continues the tech feel that the duo is known for, there are also song-based tracks on here. There are 16 tracks in total, with two bonus tracks as a cheeky bonus (yes, I know I mentioned bonus twice) so you are getting value. It isn’t the package that the previous album was, which included full length tracks, remixes and music videos, however, but what you do get are 16 tracks of really cool club-friendly tunes. Favourite tracks for me include “Happyness”, “Tormenta”, with Khomha, and the wonderfully-infectious “Yai”.
For me, I think “Start To Feel” is a worthy addition to the CG catalogue. Whether it will appeal to hardened trance fans is another matter. But for me, it’s a good album full of ever-ready club tracks that will more-or-less satisfy the taste of not just Cosmic Gate fans but trance fans in general. Its also nice to move away from “Fire Wire”, their biggest track to date. Cool!
